Samuel Ryan, Jr. : ウィキペディア英語版 | Samuel Ryan, Jr. Samuel Ryan, Jr. (March 13, 1824 – March 26, 1907) was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. ==Biography== Ryan was born in Sackets Harbor, New York in 1824.〔 〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Ryan, Samuel () 1824 - 1907 )〕 He moved with his parents to Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1826. In 1853, Ryan established the Appleton Crescent in Appleton, Wisconsin and served as its editor and publisher.〔 During the American Civil War, Ryan served with the 3rd Wisconsin Volunteer Cavalry Regiment with the rank of sergeant.〔 He was married three times: to Laura E. Knappen in 1847, to Calista M. Crane in 1853, and later to Martha S. Driggs.〔 Martha's sister, Mary, was married to William J. Fisk. Ryan died of pneumonia on March 26, 1907.〔
